Next in the Co-Navigator Conversations series, DBCTX is hosting a workshop featuring Sarah Goodwin as she examines the unique needs for working with DeafBlind consumers in public spaces to prepare for upcoming social events. Come with an open mind ready to apply concepts hands-on.

This training will examine the ethics and skills needed to work with a DeafBlind individual in unique environments with specific demands. Attendees will participate in activities and discuss various topics related to ethically co-navigating a setting with someone who is DeafBlind in public spaces with a variety of communication needs.

This workshop is open to professionals in the DeafBlind community interested in developing Co-Navigation skills.

Special thanks to Lone Star College for providing a meeting space!
