This is the workshop for you! We encourage certified interpreters as well as students and other community members to register.
In this workshop, Kevin Richmond and Jen Borland will lead discussions on the philosophy of Protactile Language and facilitate hands-on activities to apply basic PTL principles and strategies for working with consumers who do not use sign language or have other disabilities.
*Presenters' Message: While we are not PTL trainers, we are happy to provide resources for deeper PTL training. This is not your average workshop! Come prepared with an open mind and closed-toe shoes, and be ready to move your body! Event will be held at Austin Community College, Highland Campus.
