“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light”, join us for a walk (walk, run, or roll) in the dark, make a new friend, and enjoy live music by a local band, Bone Pilots! The DeafBlind Camp of Texas is a local nonprofit organized by DeafBlind adults and a few of their friends and family. The mission is to provide a safe, fun, barrier-free place for adults who are DeafBlind. The camp runs on donations. Everyone involved in the camp is a volunteer including the Support Service Providers (SSPs), which serve as the eyes and ears for the DeafBlind campers.
Cost Per Person:
Early Bird (Before September 1st, 2018): $30.00
Walk, Run, or Roll (Before September 16th, 2018): $40.00
Late Comer (Before Oct 2nd, 2018): $50.00
6 pm – 10 pm

You agree to hold harmless the DeafBlind Camp of Texas, corporate sponsors, cooperating organizations and all parties connected with this event from any liability as a result of your participation. You will permit emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness while participating and give permission to use your name and photo taken of you during the event in any promotional material, publication, or on the website. You understand that the DeafBlind Camp of Texas withholds the right to dismiss anyone that may cause disturbance. You certify that You have read and understand the intent of this waiver and release.
